New VACULA Torque Tool for tire valve cores.
A new automotive service tool from VACULA eliminates the fear of over-tightening tire valves.
The Torque Tools are available from end of November 2006.
Introduced by CEJN’s VACULA Automotive Products division, the new VACULA Torque Tool is a calibrated valve core screwdriver that safely tightens tire valve cores to manufacturers’ specifications.
Internal Calibrator
When unscrewing a valve head for tire inflation, the simple-to-use Torque Tool functions just like any other valve screwdriver. But when the head is screwed back into place, an internal calibrator limits the torque to the specified value, making over-tightening virtually impossible.
The tool eliminates unpredictable pressure failures—and their unpleasant consequences—that come with over-tightening tire valve cores.
Maintenance-free with no need for recalibration, the VACULA Torque Tool is a must-have for Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) valves to maintain proper pressure.
VACULA offers two Torque Tool styles:
· Metal valve style (Part # 12 088 0020)—Characterized by a black handle, it offers 45 Ncm and is primarily for newer car models with metal tire valves.
· Rubber valve style (Part #12 088 0010)—Characterized by a red handle, it offers 25 Ncm and is primarily for older car models with rubber tire valves.
